Entry Science

Entry Science is an exciting, hands-on subject that gives you the chance to explore the major areas of science. From cells and living organisms to ecosystems, chemistry, forces and motion, Earth and space science, and environmental sustainability, you’ll discover how science explains the world around us.

The course provides opportunities to experience the wonder of exploring the world scientifically, while developing an understanding of key scientific concepts and processes, the inquiry skills used to investigate questions and solve problems, and the ways science contributes to our culture, society, and everyday lives.

With plenty of practical experiments, investigations, and real-world activities, you’ll spend lots of time doing science rather than just reading about it. You’ll also develop your skills in recording and analysing data, drawing conclusions from data and writing scientifically, making Entry Science a fun and engaging way to build confidence and prepare for future study and life beyond the classroom.
