The course guides will be updated as we receive the new ones from the course providers. The VET application process opens on Thursday 19th of June 2025 and will close on Friday 8th August (end week 4 Term 3).

Information on the application process will be communicated to parents/carers and students via Compass Newsfeed, Next Week @ TC and via Microsoft Teams (for students). There will be an information session for students held in the PAC during week 9 of term 2.

It is important to be aware that VET places are limited. The order of priority that provider’s generally offer places is as follows:

  1. VCE VM students - year 11 and 12 equivalent (in order of applicant)

  2. VCE students - year 11 and 12 equivalent (in order of applicant)

  3. Year 10 Students (in order of applicant)

There are no guarantees that a place will be available for you, so it is recommended to get your application in early. Don’t leave it until the application closing date.

Each VET provider has differing timelines for the assessment of applicants and the completion of their approval process. We anticipate knowing if you have been offered a place by the end of week 8 of term 4. It is important to keep an eye on teams and your school email so that you don’t miss out on any important information or requests for further information relating to your VET application.

Late applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
